Belgrade, 20th March 2018

EU PPF6 Inception and 2nd Interim Report covering the EU PPF6 project progress were approved at the second Steering Committee Meeting held at the premises of the Ministry of European Integration. The meeting was attended by the SC members: CFCU, MEI, Consortium partners Louis Berger and GIZ, as well as the EU PPF6 team representatives.
The meeting addressed the EU PPF6 outputs during the project inception and implementation phase from February 2017 to February 2018, as well as planned activities for the next interim period of 6 months. Surveys and site investigations necessary for all seven subprojects and preparation of technical and tender documentation are ongoing. In addition, Project Working Groups have been established with the purpose to ensure efficient coordination of activities and progress of each selected priority sub-project in the environment and energy sectors.
With regards to Capacity Building, draft Training Programme for delivery of general and specialised training courses has been prepared, including definition of most suitable modules for training delivery. In the forthcoming period the scope and number of trainings will be precisely defined based on the actual training needs assessment. The proposed specialised training courses to be organized are targeting EU PPF6 direct beneficiaries at central, and local (Municipal/City administration, PUCs) level and will be focused on Preparation of Technical Documentation for Infrastructure Projects and Infrastructure Project Implementation.
The next Project Steering Committee will meet in August 2018, namely after the completion of 6-month interim period.
