Preparation of Technical Documentation for Infrastructure Projects Eligible for EU and IFIs funding – Cost Benefit Analysis for EU financed projects in wastewater treatment and processing sub-sector

This practical seminar is aimed to cover all essential aspects of Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) in line with the EU Guide on CBA published in December 2014. It explains why CBA remains to be one of the most important tools in programming and preparation of WWTP investment projects, not only for beneficiaries of the EU funds, but also for national and local administrations in their decision-making process regarding investments.

It gives also reply to the question how to prepare and how to assess CBA.

Seminar explains in practical way how to successfully perform each element of CBA (financial, economic, sensitivity and risk analysis) for WWTP projects eligible for EU funds.

Seminar includes practical workshops allowing practicing in small groups how to review the quality of CBAs, how to report their results, how to adjust the project to improve the quality of the CBA and make it desirable for the EU co-financing.

Target group for the training were representatives of city/municipal administration and PUCs from Uzice, Kosjeric, Arilje, Ivanjica and Pozega.
