On May 28th and 31st in Zlatibor and Belgrade and on June 03rd and 04th 2019, in Novi Sad, EU PPF8 project team hosted the second modules of the training on Construction and supervision procedures that were successfully completed by 23 representatives of the relevant ministries, city / municipal administration and public companies from Užice, Požega, Ivanjica and Belgrade as well as the Provincial Secretariat for urban planning and environmental protection and Municipality of Vrbas.

The participants familiarized themselves with preparation of the necessary project and tender documentation, with special emphasis of the trainers on the difference between these two types of documentation for waste and wastewater management, and railways infrastructure projects. The obligations of the Beneficiary in the preparatory phases of the project, as well as the Supervision and Beneficiary obligations during the works execution and the warranty period were elaborated in more detail. Separate training sessions were dedicated to the importance of monitoring of works and different type of reporting that provides transparency according to the requirements of key financial institutions and PRAG/FIDIC standards.

The participants had an opportunity to hear first-hand practical experiences both from Serbia and the region on financial contract management, payments and, claims and dispute resolution.
